About the role

The Branch team is responsible for making sure that the branch is compliant with local regulations and offering the best service to our customers. The team will be working alongside a range of departments within Revolut Bank and the Revolut Group.

We're looking for a Country Manager to help us solve the toughest problems in our global fintech. Someone to roll up their sleeves and lead this team and Revolut Bank’s branch activities in Denmark.

What you'll be doing

• Acting as a key stakeholder in the Denmark branch
• Building and optimising scalable processes to continue Revolut's hyper-growth
• Overseeing day-to-day 1st line of defence functions of the branch, including governance, interactions with regulators, and oversight of BAU operations
• Providing adequate oversight and accountability for outsourced branch functions
• Executing scale operations and working with cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, Compliance, Communications, etc.) in Lithuania, London, and other global offices
• Monitoring country-specific risk incidents, conduct issues, and their resolution timelines, and liaising with relevant service owners to ensure proper controls
• Identifying key product, operational, licensing, and growth opportunities for Revolut
• Searching for new features to provide a seamless customer experience
• Managing critical vendor relationships and building performance tracking systems
• Developing strategic supply chain partnerships and negotiating commercial terms
• Running support organisations, managing relationships with critical stakeholders, and consistently hitting SLAs
• Creating and maintaining MI for monitoring of growth metrics, risk incidents, and branch-related activity
• Coordinating regulatory inspections, creating and providing necessary materials to facilitate them

What you'll need

• At least a 2:1 degree from a top university
• 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally financial services or management consulting in the Danish market
• Fluency in Danish and English
• Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts
• Experience managing risk, compliance, and outsourcing operations
• A solid track record of taking ownership and leading complex projects end to end
• The skill to break complex problems into smaller ones
• A natural curiosity and willingness to make an impact

• Experience working with regulators
• Experience setting up a branch in Denmark
