About the role

Our Treasury team sits at the very core of Revolut. People in the Treasury team are among the first in the company to get involved in new business initiatives. They help to set up payment and financial risk management infrastructure.They advise on optimisation of returns from liquidity and capital deployed. Treasury works across functions, products, and regions to centrally manage liquidity, market, wholesale credit and capital adequacy risks of the Revolut Group.

We're looking for a colleague (Mid level) to contribute towards the Group’s liquidity management activities and enhance our overall framework.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting the Head of Liquidity Framework and Planning in developing, building and maintaining a best in class liquidity and funding management framework
  • Working closely with our product owners and risk teams to deliver the Group ILAAP, which contains analysis on liquidity and funding risk and other liquidity regulatory requirements (such as LCR/NSFR/ contingency funding planning)
  • Leading the implementation of the appropriate liquidity management tools, for the data capture, control, measurement, reporting and forecasting of liquidity
  • Reviewing Group risk appetite for liquidity and funding exposures
  • Supporting our businesses in their growth through understanding and optimizing their liquidity/funding needs
  • Maintaining liquidity and funding policies
  • Leading in the development and diversification of funding programmes across the Group, covering both secured and unsecured funding
  • Keeping abreast of emerging trends in financial markets which will affect the entity's funding strategy and assisting in the design of the liquidity investment portfolio

What you'll need

  • Excellent problem solving skills, ability to break down complex issues into their component parts, identifying the root cause, proposing solutions, and gathering support
  • The ability to work in a high-pressure environment, deliver practical solutions, influence stakeholders, and deal with ad-hoc requirements from start to delivery
  • Using a structured approach and being highly organized to manage multiple projects
  • Experience in liquidity and funding management in a universal bank type business. This includes a thorough understanding of UK-based regulatory regimes
  • An ability to assess and interpret new/revised regulatory policy, and communicate impacts to businesses, senior management, and committees
  • Professional experience in a top-tier financial institution or fintech firm (preferably within a Treasury, Finance, or Risk function)

Nice to have

  • Expertise with regulatory liquidity regimes in other geographies (such as Europe, the US etc)
  • Previous experience in liquidity stress testing methodology
  • A background in consultancy
  • A STEM degree
  • Coding experience
