We're looking for a Finance Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in optimising our finance operations, enhancing control frameworks, and driving efficiency across the business. This is a broad and high-impact role, touching every area of our global fintech and helping us deliver better outcomes for millions of customers.

What you'll be doing

• Leading initiatives to build out dashboards for monitoring financial performance and key metrics.
• Driving automation efforts to streamline Finance processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing best practices across finance functions.
• Driving initiatives that improve finance team productivity
• Improving Finance control frameworks
• Accelerating integration of new initiatives into the finance ecosystem
• Collaborating with external auditor analytics experts to ensure seamless audit processes.
• Facilitating the exchange of information and data analysis to support audit requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with audit standards and regulations while fostering a constructive relationship with auditors.
• Helping to build automated project management tools and dashboards to streamline the audit process.
• Building new finance tools based on functional requirements from finance teams
• Collaborating with software engineers to implement tool solutions

What you'll need

• A Bachelor's degree in STEM, Finance, or Economics from a top university with a minimum 2:1 grade
• 3+ years managing projects or change initiatives in consulting or financial services
• A focus on data analytics, assurance, or process improvement
• Proficiency in handling high-volume transaction datasets with working knowledge of SQL
• Proven track record of delivering outstanding results with quantifiable business outcomes.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan and execute work efficiently.
• Hands-on and positive attitude, with a willingness to tackle tasks ranging from manual processing to complex analytics projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver complex projects

Nice to have

• Chartered Accountant (ACA or equivalent) with practical application of IFRS in complex, regulated environments
• Proven ability to design and implement finance optimisation initiatives
• Including process improvements and target operating model design
• Demonstrated experience in managing system development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to testing and go-live.
• Relevant program management qualifications such as Prince II or Lean Six Sigma certification.
• Proficiency in Python
