We're looking for a forward-thinking Audit Operations Manager to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a recent Big 4 auditor to make a significant step into the fintech industry. You'll be at the forefront of managing our external audit relationships, driving efficiency, and shaping the future of how we conduct audits.
This is a high-impact role where you'll be solving complex issues, managing tight deadlines, and leveraging technology to build a best-in-class audit delivery team.
What you'll be doing
- Leading the end-to-end delivery and project management of the group's external audit and quarterly reviews, from planning through to completion
- Serving as the primary point of contact for all audit queries, resolving issues efficiently and proactively engaging with auditors to ensure high-quality audits and a collaborative relationship
- Driving the critical transition of the external audit to EY for the FY2026 cycle, establishing the new foundational processes, systems, and relationships for a seamless and efficient partnership
- Pioneering the use of technology to transform audits by setting up automated data pipelines for a continuous audit model and leading the development of innovative automation tools
- Owning audit deadlines and working with auditors to identify and implement opportunities to accelerate future audit cycles
- Utilising audit downtime (approximately 40% of capacity) to drive high-impact projects across finance, including contributing to SOX readiness, improving processes and controls, and building financial monitoring dashboards
What you'll need
- To be a qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent)
- 4+ years of recent audit experience within a Big 4 firm
- A proven track record of managing complex audit projects and delivering outstanding results
- A demonstrated ability to challenge existing processes and implement improvements
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on, positive attitude
- Outstanding organisational and project management skills, with the ability to execute work efficiently against tight deadlines
- Knowledge of SQL or an appetite and ability to learn it quickly
Nice to have
- Experience auditing big tech or fintech companies
- A proven track record of automating manual processes
- Experience with data analytics and assurance
- Experience designing and implementing finance optimisation initiatives
Compensation range
- Vilnius: €4,100 - €4,500 gross monthly*
- Lithuania: €4,100 - €4,500 gross monthly*
- Other locations: Compensation will be discussed during the interview process
*Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience
