About the role

Our Audit team is critical to our business. They create internal risk management and compliance processes, and make sure they’re running efficiently.

We’re looking for an Internal Auditor to evaluate our processes and systems, including financial product services, technology, and information security. You'll be identifying, assessing, and managing key risks, as well as ensuring full compliance with regulations in Argentina.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing the annual internal audit plan, considering regulatory requirements and risks associated with the operations in Argentina
  • Interacting with an external auditor and the Central Bank of Argentina to align Revolut standards with requirements
  • Working closely with the Portfolio Lead to develop and execute audit programs, compliant with internal audit policies, procedures, methodologies, and regulatory requirements
  • Providing input and assisting in the identification of relevant risks and regulatory requirements for incorporation as part of our audit scope and work programs
  • Communicating and discussing conclusions with business unit management
  • Developing audit reports which identify problems and underlying root causes, giving recommendations to address these problems, while adding value to Revolut
  • Conducting research and completing assigned training requirements necessary to maintain relevance
  • Conducting follow-up reviews of problems noted during audits
  • Monitoring audit progress (against expected timelines and scope), managing to completion and escalating where needed

What you'll need

  • 7+ years of experience in an audit related-role within a regulated financial services environment
  • Experience across banking, security trade, payments, operations, risk, finance, and treasury processes
  • Deep knowledge of systems and controls within EMI/retail banking businesses for managing conduct and prudential risks (credit, market, liquidity, operational, etc.)
  • An excellent understanding of regulatory compliance requirements in Argentina for EMI and/or retail banking
  • Fluency in English
  • Solid data analysis skills and proficiency in SQL, SAS, Python, or R
  • Extensive audit experience on risk assessment, process and control review, implementation, and advice
  • Knowledge of COSO, IIA Standards, CSA, etc.
  • The ability to work independently, managing concurrent deadlines and multiple priorities
  • A drive to learn, grow, and have impact quickly as part of an expanding global team
  • Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills
