About the role
The Revolut Communications Team is looking for its first B2B Communications Manager to supercharge our comms strategy for Revolut Business and beyond.
Reporting to Revolut’s Global Head of Consumer Communications, you’ll have the opportunity to build Revolut’s approach to B2B comms from the ground-up - that’s everything from thought leadership to messaging and product launches to customer advocacy.
This is a unique opportunity to make your mark and drive impact within a fast-paced team that loves creative thinking, data-driven storytelling and audience-centric campaigns.
You’ll work with senior stakeholders and spokespeople from across the business and partner with our comms superstars based all around the globe to land impactful headlines, build credibility for Revolut with B2B decision-makers and help us on our mission to disrupt business finance.
What you'll be doing
- Working with the Global Head of Consumer Communications to build our approach to B2B storytelling.
- Building strong relationships with journalists and key opinion leaders in the UK and beyond.
- Launching new products and features with high impact and developing sustained storytelling to ensure long-term consideration.
- Creating thought leadership campaigns and story ideas that capture attention and position Revolut Business as the natural financial partner to businesses.
- Partnering with marketing to build customer advocacy programmes and announcements with top-tier customers.
- Driving executive positioning for our B2B leaders, inclusive of interviews, speaking opportunities, events and social media.
- Working with our communications managers based all around the world to amplify news and build local B2B stories by providing them with content, toolkits and counsel.
- Partnering closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Product Marketing, Social, Sales, Ops and more to ensure strong alignment and results.
- Working in conjunction with the Global Corporate Communications team to mitigate and manage issues.
What you'll need
- Demonstrable B2B communications experience in a fast-paced industry (either in-house or agency).
- A track-record of successful results across B2B comms programmes - from thought leadership and customer advocacy to product launches and partnerships.
- Strong tier one media relationships across national, technology, business and vertical trade press in the UK.
- Experience coordinating comms programmes across different markets and an understanding of localisation needs.
- Readiness to work in a high-performing, analytical and results-driven environment.
- Natural storyteller with impeccable copywriting skills and fluency in English.
- A passion for disrupting financial services.
Nice to have
- Experience working on B2B communications for tech, fintech, banking or finance brands.
- Experience working on communications programmes for markets outside of the UK.
- Corporate communications experience including crisis management and media training.
- Fluency in an additional European language - especially French, Spanish, Italian or Polish.
