About The Role

At Revolut, Operations means problem-solving at scale. Our team tackles the company’s toughest challenges with speed, precision, and creativity. They design systems that unlock efficiency and power global growth.

We're looking for an Operations Manager to work on high-impact initiatives and ensure operations in Romania are compliant with local regulations.

You'll use insight to solve challenges, oversee how we continue to expand in the region, and identify ways to deliver better outcomes and features for our customers.

What You'll Be Doing

• Acting as a key stakeholder for Revolut in Romania
• Building and optimising scalable processes to continue our hyper-growth
• Overseeing first line of defence functions, including governance, interactions with regulators, and oversight of BAU operations
• Providing adequate oversight and accountability for outsourced functions
• Executing scale operations and collaborating with cross-functional teams (Operations, Payments, Finance, Compliance, Marketing, etc.) across global offices
• Monitoring country-specific risk incidents, conduct issues, and resolutions, liaising with relevant service owners to ensure proper controls are followed
• Identifying and project managing key product, operational, licensing, and growth opportunities
• Searching for new features to provide a seamless customer experience
• Managing critical vendor relationships and building performance tracking systems
  
  

What You'll Need

• At least a 2:1 degree from a top university
• 6+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally banking/financial services or management consulting in the Romania
• Fluency in English and Romanian
• Experience managing risk, compliance, and outsourcing operations
• A solid track record of taking ownership and leading complex projects end to end
• The ability to break complex problems into smaller, achievable tasks
• Natural curiosity and a willingness to make an impact
