Job Summary
We’re looking for a skilled and driven Full-Stack Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work on both front-end and back-end development, creating innovative, high-quality solutions to meet business needs. You will play a key role in architecting and building SalesDesk, collaborating closely as part of a cross-functional team, and continuously evolving your skills. You’ll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, tackle exciting greenfield projects, and help shape the future of our product.

The Role
- Design and develop the core SalesDesk platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, maintainability and an exceptional user experience.
- Contribute to the technical architecture of the system, focusing on building fault-tolerant, distributed systems in AWS.
- Optimize platform performance by improving load times, scalability, and system responsiveness on both the front-end and back-end.
- Ensure cross-team collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to meet user needs and business requirements.
- Write clean, maintainable code following industry best practices, and actively participate in code reviews and testing.
- Keep up with new technologies and contribute to the evolution of the tech stack, including front-end and back-end frameworks, cloud technologies, and design patterns.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: 3+ years post-graduation experience, preferably in a fast-moving tech startup environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM subject (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.).
- Growth mindset: Enjoy learning new technologies and frameworks.
- Skills:
- Experience building applications using cloud technologies, ideally AWS.
- Strong understanding of React and web fundamentals - including the virtual DOM, concurrent programming, web performance analysis, managing re-renders, and SSR.
- Proficient with Git.
- Excited to work autonomously.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to write documentation and clearly explain complex technical concepts.
Working Conditions:
- Position Type: Hybrid, full-time
- Location: Must be able to commute to the London Office (Old Street) for a minimum of two days a week.
