SalesDesk just closed its most recent funding round and is backed by Seedcamp and some of the best angel investors in Europe. You’ll work alongside other talented engineers to launch an industry-redefining platform.

You will take a leading role in managing our AWS infrastructure, including our CICD processes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has the ambition and ability to become Head of DevOps as SalesDesk develops.

Technologies: AWS, Serverless, CloudFormation, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, DynamoDB

• Lead the design and implementation of our infrastructure, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Streamline code deployments, making them fast, seamless, and efficient across multiple AWS accounts and stacks.
• Optimize availability, fault tolerance, scalability, performance, and security in our AWS environments.
• Implement comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems, ensuring proactive issue resolution and system health.
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines, enhancing automation and continuous integration throughout the development lifecycle.
• Champion DevOps best practices, ensuring they are embedded at every stage of our stack.

• 3 + years of DevOps experience, ideally within a fast-paced tech startup environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• Problem solver with a growth mindset, always eager to explore new technologies and tackle challenges.
• Strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across teams.
• A security-first mindset, understanding common infosec vulnerabilities and best practices.
• Experience building fault-tolerant and scalable solutions in AWS.
• Proficient with CloudFormation.
• TypeScript and Node.js highly desirable.
• Proficient with Bash.
• Proficient with Git, with a solid understanding of version control practices.
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch cluster administration, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

• Position Type: Hybrid, full-time
• Location: Must be able to commute to the London Office (Old Street) for a minimum of two days a week.
