About SE3
SE3 Labs is building Spatial AI by combining 3D computer vision with large language models to give drones the ability to understand and act in the physical world.
This capability unlocks the next generation of autonomous flight, transforming how drones operate across construction, infrastructure inspection, and defense.
Now we are bringing Spatial AI into the sky through high-performance UAVs that can perceive, decide, and fly on their own.
Our team consists of AI experts and repeat founders, who have worked at Nvidia, Tesla, McKinsey, BCGX, and First Momentum.
We have secured multi-million Euros in Venture Capital funding from top-notch investors, like Lakestar and Seedcamp and grew extremely successfully within the defence space by delivering SpatialAI capabilities to German armed forces and partners.
Now, it's time to win sizeable contracts in Germany and expand in Europe!
About the Role
As European Relations & Public Affairs Intern at SE3 Labs, your mission is to identify and address key stakeholders in relevant European markets, such as the UK, Nordics, and the Ukraine. You’ll work directly with the Manager of Governmental Partnerships and Strategy to strengthen our relationship with governmental institutions across Europe. Furthermore, you’ll make deep dives on regulations and policy frameworks to help us understand how we can double down on our business development motion.
Your Responsibilities
Full Ownership: You work on high-priority topics related to public affairs and government relations to increase our visibility and impact in the European defence space.
Policy Analysis: You dive deep into procurement regulations and policy frameworks in Germany, the UK, and other European countries to help us navigate the B2G landscape.
Stakeholder Engagement: You identify key politicians and public sector representatives and actively engage with them to build meaningful relationships.
Funding Support: You contribute to national and international public funding applications, helping us access critical resources for growth.
Your responsibilities won’t be limited to this - if you take ownership and deliver results, the opportunities to grow and make an impact are limitless.
Your Profile
Bias to action: If you see a problem that can be solved or a way to grow the business, we want you to go for it.
Positive attitude: Pessimists sound smart. Optimists make money.
You’re enrolled in a Master’s degree in political science, international relations, public affairs, law, or a related field.
You bring first-hand experience from a governmental or supranational institution - whether it’s a federal ministry, parliament, or an international body like the UN.
Native level German (C2) and English (C2) is required for the role; French is a big plus and helps you shine in a European context.
You’re politically curious, proactive, and excited to operate at the intersection of policy, technology, and defence.
If you have already gathered entrepreneurial exposure through building your own projects, this is a huge plus!
Start date: From May 2026 onwards
Length: minimum of 4 months, 6 months highly preferred
