About the role

We are looking for a Management Accountant to join us here at SeedLegals. Working alongside our experienced Finance Director, this is a broad role that will be across all details of the business, and a fantastic learning opportunity to be part of a high-growth scale up tech firm. The role needs an individual that is familiar with what a good Finance function looks and feels like, has a controls-based mindset who is as comfortable working on accounting detail as with taking a broader view of the business and working closely with a variety of different teams and systems in a scale-up environment.

What the role involves

This is a perfect opportunity for someone eager to begin a long and successful career in Finance. You can expect to be involved in the following areas:

• Managing the day-to-day finance operations, including accounting, payments and reconciling.
• Leveraging your prior audit experience, helping prepare for our first-year audit, implementing a robust system of controls and monitoring procedures.
• Supporting month end close and the production of comprehensive management accounts, KPIs, as well as year-end statutory accounts. Preparing month end journals for several global entities.
• Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of quarterly cost base analyses and forecast modelling.
• Working with RevOps to analyse and track financial performance, investigating exceptions and variances to budget.
• Continually looking to improve our financial processes and reporting as we expand into adjacent markets and new regions, including the identification and mitigation of financial risk.
• Forging strong relationships across the business and collaborating in decision support across sales, customer support and operations.
