In-person role (4 days in office, 1 from home), in London
£40k - £50k + equity package

About the role

We’re seeking an entrepreneurial Operations Associate to build and scale Stackfix’s software marketplace. A few reasons why you might find this exciting:
You’ll be our sixth team member - so you’ll get exposure to all parts of an early-stage startup, and play a huge part in shaping your role and the company
The market opportunity is massive - $1 trillion dollars is spent on business software each year, yet there is no dominant software marketplace. There is a clear opportunity to build the Amazon of Software.
The ops challenges are varied and cutting-edge - we need to build AI-powered systems that collect and standardize proprietary data at scale, as well as build a first-class team and distribute our product globally. You’ll be analysing, calculating and negotiating (and become a world-class software expert).
We'll pay £40K to £50K per year - plus significant equity.
Some topics you’ll think about
Software analysis & process design - researching software products and designing AI-powered systems to efficiently scale our research capabilities.
Partnerships - building enduring partnerships with software vendors.
Talent - finding and developing a first-class team, across engineering, design and marketing.

Our hiring process

We like to move quickly. For that reason, we follow a short, standardised process to help us learn more about you and crucially, for you to discover if you’d like working with us.
1st call with Paddy (CEO). We’ll begin by having a short, informal discussion about your experiences, values, and career goals, and give you an opportunity to learn about our ambitious goals, and how you’ll contribute to them. You’ll have the chance to ask any questions about Stackfix as a business.
Talent Assessment - We’ll invite you to complete a short online exercise that tests a few things that will be valuable for the role.
2nd call with Steph (Founders’ Associate). A second call where we’ll discuss one of our current ops challenges, and get your thoughts on it. This will introduce you to the type of things you might be working on, and be a vehicle for us to both learn more about each other.
In person co-work. We’ll invite you to our central London office to work with us (paid) for roughly half-a-day. In some exceptional cases we might ask you to do a remote work assessment instead of an in-office trial. You’ll complete actual sprint work (nothing fictitious!). Feel free to ask questions - you’re our colleague for the day.
Offer. We’ll make you an offer and look forward to having you join us!
