Our Mission:

At Sunrise Robotics, we are dedicated to augmenting humanity through intelligent robotics. Our mission is to elevate the world of manufacturing by introducing intelligent, flexible robots that enhance human capabilities and existing machinery, ushering in the next era of production at higher quality, with less waste, and lower cost.

Our Vision:

We see a future where every element of manufacturing, from design to assembly, is optimised with intelligent automation. Our vision is to integrate flexible robotic solutions, based on generic hardware and advanced software/AI capabilities, into manufacturing, particularly in small and medium-sized enterprises, to make automation economically viable and accessible, for all sizes of manufacturers. We are not just building robots; we are creating the strategically crucial components for autonomous, intelligent agents of the future.

The role

At Sunrise Robotics, this Product Manager role owns the Platform product space - the foundation that lets our teams ship, deploy, and scale reliably.

You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with Engineering leadership and ICs to define what “great” looks like, translate ambiguous needs into crisp product direction, and bring a strong product standard into a domain that can easily drift into “just engineering.” You’ll help teams prioritise ruthlessly, pressure-test estimates and tradeoffs, and create the habits that top product organisations are known for: clear ownership, sharp problem definition, high-quality execution, and consistent shipping. The goal isn’t 1% optimisation on a mature product; it’s making double-digit progress year over year in an environment where there’s still a lot to build, connect, and systematise.

If you love the intersection of product and engineering, you’ll fit well here - whether you’re a PM with an engineering background, an engineer turned PM, or someone who’s shipped technical products and can earn credibility fast while keeping the focus on customer and business value.

What you’ll do

  • Own end-to-end product direction and delivery for a core, highly technical area of the product.

  • Translate company goals and customer needs into clear priorities, roadmaps, and outcomes.

  • Partner closely with engineering to shape solutions, challenge assumptions, and make sound tradeoffs.

  • Lead deep technical discussions with credibility, ensuring alignment on scope, feasibility, and delivery.

  • Drive clarity and alignment across teams by communicating product intent, decisions, and rationale.

  • Run discovery and execution cycles, from problem framing through launch and iteration.

  • Establish and reinforce strong product practices focused on quality, impact, and predictable delivery.

  • Identify risks and dependencies early and proactively adjust plans to keep work on track.

  • Act as a force multiplier by reducing ambiguity and enabling teams to move faster with confidence.

  • Contribute to the growth of the product organisation through mentorship, feedback, and raising the bar.

What you’ll need

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager working on complex, highly technical products.

  • Strong technical fluency, with the ability to engage deeply with engineers and system-level problems.

  • Experience leading product teams or mentoring other Product Managers, while remaining hands-on as an individual contributor.

  • Experience in a scale-up or early-growth environment where products were still being built and shaped.

  • Track record of shipping high-quality products that delivered clear customer or business value.

  • Excellent product judgment, including prioritisation and decision-making under uncertainty.

  • Ability to influence across teams without relying on formal authority.

  • Clear, structured communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and motivation to build great products for the right reasons.

  • Comfortable learning new domains quickly and applying that knowledge to real product decisions.

What makes you stand out

  • Background in robotics, autonomy, AI-heavy systems, or other complex, real-world software products.

  • Experience working on developer platforms, infrastructure, or internal products used by multiple teams.

  • An engineering background earlier in their career (even if they’ve been in product for years).

  • Comfort working directly with customers or field teams to validate problems and solutions.

  • International or cross-cultural team experience, especially in distributed European teams.
