About the role:

Are you a seasoned insurance professional with a passion for innovation and a track record of success? We're seeking a dynamic Senior Account Manager to join our high-performing sales team. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in driving revenue growth by managing key client relationships and delivering innovative solutions for a range of insurance products. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-paced and rapidly expanding organisation.

What you'll get up to:

  • Strategic growth: Develop and implement strategic plans to grow our client base and expand market share.

  • Relationship building: Forge strong relationships with key decision-makers at UK SMEs, including CEOs, CFOs, and other C-suite executives.

  • Efficient broking: Efficiently broking leads generated by our sales team, leveraging them to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.

  • Deal negotiation: Negotiate complex deals with underwriters to secure the best terms for our clients.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities and develop innovative solutions.

  • Mentorship: Mentor and coach team members to enhance their sales skills and achieve their full potential.

  • Market awareness: Stay abreast of industry trends and market developments to inform sales strategies and tactics.

  • Representation: Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote our brand

About you:

This role would fit like a glove if .......

  • Experience: You've got 8+ years of broking, account handling or underwriting experience

  • Industry knowledge: You possess a good knowledge of working within commercial lines insurance, products including commercial combined, property owners, public liability and product liability, among others

  • Market reputation: You are respected among underwriters in the UK/London insurance market

  • Sales success: Proven track record of success in sales, with a focus on retail distribution.

  • Communication skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strategic mindset: Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a passion for driving growth.

  • Professionalism: High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients.

  • Team development: Experience in mentoring and developing team members to achieve their full potential.
