People & Culture Graduate Intern - 6 Month FTC
People & HR · Intern
London, UK
About the role
Want to kick off your career in People with a fast-growing business that’s doing things differently? Join Superscript as our People & Culture Graduate Intern. You’ll get stuck into something new every day.
This is a broad, varied role at the heart of how Superscript runs. You’ll provide essential day-to-day support to our team, keep things organised and help make sure work gets done well and on time.
You’ll work closely with our People team and colleagues across the business. You’ll take ownership of a range of admin and coordination tasks and get involved in projects, events and ad-hoc pieces of work.
It’s a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is organised, works hard and is curious about how a People team supports a growing business. You’ll be an important extra pair of hands, and you’ll learn a lot along the way.
What you'll get up to:
You’ll work closely with our People & Culture Leader, and our Leadership & Talent Leader, supporting them and teams across the business.
Provide day-to-day administrative support, taking routine tasks off the team’s plate so they can focus on strategic priorities.
Manage diaries, schedule meetings and coordinate workshops and internal sessions.
Keep documents, trackers and records organised, accurate and up to date.
Handle confidential information carefully and professionally.
Take ownership of tasks from start to finish, following through on actions and meeting deadlines.
Help colleagues joining the business get off to a great start, from welcome packs to first-day logistics.
Be a friendly point of contact for day-to-day queries, finding the answer or the right person.
Help organise team events, socials and company-wide activities.
Work with colleagues across the business to keep things running smoothly.
Support the admin behind key employee milestones, including onboarding, probation reviews, employee changes and leavers.
Track probation dates and send reminders, so reviews and paperwork happen on time.
Help record and monitor absence, keeping records accurate and flagging anything that needs follow-up.
Update employee records and prepare standard letters and documents.
Confidently handle colleague questions about these processes, and know when to pass something on.
Help prepare reports, data, presentations and internal communications.
Keep templates, guidance and process documents up to date.
Spot ways to make our processes simpler and more efficient.
Pick up ad-hoc projects and be willing to get stuck in wherever an extra pair of hands is needed.
