Technical Coordinator (CTO Assistant)

Role Description
At Telleroo, we’re building the future of payments for businesses. Our CTO, wants to make sure our engineers are supported, happy, and able to focus on what they do best: solving problems and building great software. To help with this, we’re hiring a People-Centric Technical Coordinator — part project support, part team enabler, part executive assistant.
This is not a “command and control” role. It’s a care and enablement role, making sure our engineers thrive and that projects move forward smoothly without unnecessary process.
What you'll do
Support the Engineering Team
- Check in with engineers to understand blockers, frustrations, and resource needs.
- Ensure engineers have the right information, documentation, and context.
- Coordinate with product, design, and compliance to protect engineering time.
- Help organise rituals (standups, retros, offsites) that are light, human, and effective.
Project & Communication Flow
- Capture decisions, and next steps — keep everyone aligned.
- Track progress of initiatives, ensuring things don’t fall through the cracks.
- Smooth communication between CTO ↔ engineers, and engineers ↔ other teams.
- Proactively surface risks or gaps so they can be resolved early.
Executive Support (Light-Touch)
- Help the CTO protect focus time and prioritise requests.
- Schedule syncs, prepare context, and triage incoming communication.
- Occasionally assist with materials for leadership updates or presentations.
About you
- Background in technical project management, agile coaching, or product ops.
- Strong empathy and people skills — you genuinely enjoy making engineers’ lives easier.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; you can simplify complex updates.
- Organized and detail-oriented, but not a fan of bureaucracy.
- Comfortable with modern tools (Slack, Notion, GitHub, Jira/Linear, Google Workspace).
- Tech-fluent: you understand engineering environments but you don't need to know how to code.
Nice to haves
- Experience in a FinTech or SaaS startup.
- Exposure to light scripting, QA, or technical documentation.
- Previous work directly supporting a CTO or engineering leader.
