Our B2B business, Thriva Solutions offers health services and provides a full end to end diagnostic service (DAAS). VP Commercial - Thriva B2B Solutions

We’re looking for a talented VP Commercial to lead Thriva’s fast growing B2B Solutions Business. Sector-specific experience of selling enterprise deals in Life Sciences and/or/with Clinical Research Organisations is a preferred requirement.

Your Role

  • Lead, manage, and motivate the Thriva B2B Commercial team.
  • Represent the Commercial function on the senior leadership team, leading and reporting on strategic direction and progress against critical projects and accounts.
  • Strategise and lead a scalable, high-performing commercial function, from setting ambitious team targets to acquiring key strategic customers
  • The role is responsible for building and executing a Go-to-Market sales and marketing strategy.
  • Build and execute a complete Customer Lifecycle Model to support this strategy.
    • Implement tooling as a force multiplier for the Sales and Marketing teams
  • Key to this role is your ability to articulate value, encourage, sell and position the value of Thriva B2B Solutions of home based diagnostics to the chosen market segments.
  • Outline and manage sales and marketing targets, KPIs, milestones and budgets.
    • Set quarterly and annual sales and marketing goals.
    • Work with the Exec team to set annual and quarterly OKRs
    • Provide detailed sales and marketing forecasting to the Exec team.
  • Enable and motivate the sales teams to achieve their goals.
  • Work closely with marketing leadership to monitor the market and competitor products and activities.
  • Own and optimise our revenue operations, ranging from sales process, dashboards and sales enablement material
  • Mentor the current sales and account management teams, and expand a stellar sales team as we grow

What you'll bring to the table

  • Proven: You have experience in taking a technology product to market and scaling beyond that, owning the GTM strategy and driving clear commercial success.
  • Experience: You have extensive quota-carrying sales experience in successfully selling complex enterprise software/SAAS solutions, principally in new business areas.
  • Executive presence: You can engage with any stakeholder - from end-users to C-level executives. You're a trusted advisor and industry expert.
  • Domain: You really understand the verticals and their nuances, challenges, and procurement processes.
  • Motivator: You lead the Sales and Marketing team by example to achieve the Thriva company goals.
  • Overachiever: You constantly challenge yourself to exceed whatever goals and objectives you are assigned, which can be demonstrated in your track record of quota attainment
  • Excellent communicator: Networking and relationship building comes naturally to you. You know what to say and when to say it.
  • Collaborator: You know the importance of winning as a team. Partnering and leading with internal and external resources is crucial in solution selling, and you know how to engage and empower multiple partners and colleagues to maximise success.
  • You will contribute to our business growth in a fast paced, collaborative and fun atmosphere, as a valued member of Thriva. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new product category in the fast growing area of Health-tech.

Your Qualifications

  • You will have 10+ yrs of success in complex enterprise sales leadership experience.
  • Experience developing and communicating business value, time to money, risk, ROI, TCO.
  • Familiarity with methodologies such as Challenger Sales, MEDDPICC and the ‘Bowtie’
  • Proven track record of collaborating and working as part of an extended sales team.
  • Strong organisational skills, strong listening skills and ability to communicate effectively with executives.
