At Timper, engineers help decide what gets built in the real world.

We're on a mission to help build what the world needs. We're building the AI operating partner for real estate development: software and agents that help developers understand what can be built, where, why, and how to get it approved faster. This means transforming regulations, permits, zoning plans, local sentiments, geospatial layers, public inquiries, and decades of fragmented documents into a system AI can reason over reliably.

Our founders combine real estate expansion, regulatory expertise, and frontier AI engineering experience from Tesla, Deloitte Real Estate, Cleary Gottlieb, Greenomy (exited), Harvard, and McKinsey. We're backed by Seedcamp, Kima Ventures, TinyVC, and angels from ElevenLabs, real estate executives and unicorn repeat founders.

We're hiring outstanding Master's students for a paid internship.

You'll work directly with the founders. No layers. No middle management. You'll own real systems, solve problems with no existing playbook, speak with users, and ship constantly. We hire for raw intelligence, velocity, and hunger to build.

What you'll do

  • Ship production features across frontend, backend, data, and AI systems with direct mentorship from the founding team
  • Turn complex real-estate regulations, permits, geospatial layers, and public data into product experiences users rely on
  • Contribute to fast end-to-end delivery cycles: from user conversations and prototypes to live releases
  • Build tooling and workflows that improve data quality, model outputs, and engineering velocity
  • Take ownership of scoped projects with clear impact on customers and the business
  • Learn how an AI-native company is built from first principles

You might be a fit if you

  • You are currently in a Master's program in engineering, computer science, data science, mathematics, or a related field
  • You have a strong technical foundation and learn new systems quickly
  • You care about solving hard, real-world problems and not just writing elegant code in isolation
  • You communicate clearly and enjoy collaborating across product, engineering, and operations
