We are looking for a Head of Insurance Go-to-Market Lead, Americas to join our Insurance industry organization. The ideal candidate is an Insurance industry expert with knowledge of the biggest challenges facing the Insurance industry, pain points, customer journeys, business processes, system landscapes, and solutions across the value chain.


What you'll do at UiPath

S/he has a point of view on how operational transformation can differentiate the employee personas such as Underwriter and Claims Officer, customer (insured, broker, cedant), their third-party suppliers. S/he has experience building, launching, and selling enterprise ready solutions for the Insurance industry or an Industry background delivering change in this complex landscape.  S/he is passionate storyteller with the ability to communicate an innovative vision and roadmap for the Insurance industry.

 

This role will serve as UiPath’s AMER Go-to-Market leader and a key partner to UiPath’s Sales organization. The Insurance Industry Go-To-Market Lead, AMER will closely align with our account teams in several strategic Insurance clients to seed and develop strategic relationships and opportunities and value for change.  S/he will build trusted relationships with customer and partner executives, partner with sales leaders and account teams, and be a significant contributor to the revenue growth in our top insurance accounts.

 

The ideal candidate has demonstrated ability in the following key areas:

 

1) Industry Experience: 10+ years working in or selling into Insurance, especially for Non-Life and Life Insurance.  Familiarity with Insurance end to end customer journeys from front office and operational back-office processes as well as the IT landscape, regulation and increasing data challenges.

 

2) Strategic Planning: Ability to create and drive Insurance Go-to-Market strategic business plan with clear pathways to revenue targets across target account strategies, industry solutions, partnerships, and marketing. History of being accountable to revenue and pipeline goals.

 

3) Solution Sales Success: Passion for and track record of collaborating with AMER sales teams (Account Executives, Solution Consultants, Product Sales) as a trusted advisor to seed and develop strategic opportunities based on industry solutions.  Experience enabling Sales on the Insurance industry message, solutions, and resources available, developing high touch and at-scale sales programs, and partnering with AMER sales teams to seed and advance strategic solution-based opportunities.

 

4) Industry Guidance: Track record as a geographical Go-to-Market Lead across Insurance industries, led a global vertical from planning, into GTM, delivery execution, and thought leadership, guided indirect industry functions and headcount (especially Marketing, Partner, Services and Product) and/or guided and delivered cross-functional industry engagements with Insurance clients.

 

5) Cross-Functional Execution: Proven ability to generate results in a matrixed organization, working with Sales, Pre-Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Partner organizations around a common Insurance industry strategy.

 

6) Customer Engagement: Ability to present to large customer audiences and build credibility with CxOs. Proven track record of and passion for building relationships with sales teams as a trusted advisor on account strategy and strategic opportunities.

 


What you'll bring to the team

  • 10+ years of experience working in or selling into the Insurance industry, with deep knowledge of core end to end processes - front-office, middle (operational) and back-office processes
  • Ideal candidates would have leadership experience at an Insurance company (business, change, automation), have sold, and delivered insurance transformation projects as a system integrator, OR have product marketing or pre-sales leadership background as a focused software vendor
  • Ability to achieve revenue growth and solution revenue growth targets for their overall region and accounts, in partnership with the direct account sales teams
  • Self-starter with demonstrated leadership experience
  • Understanding of key repeatable automation industry use cases in Insurance
  • Strong communication and writing skills (fluency in English). Top notch public speaking skills and executive presence.
  • Experience creating captivating industry positioning and thought leadership
  • Ability to develop trusted advisor relationships with customers and sales organizations
  • Superior organizational skills with ability to effectively prioritize
  • Familiarity with UiPath OR digital technologies (especially AI, ML, Process Mining, Cloud and IoT)
  • Ability to thrive in a super-fast paced, constantly evolving company
  • Fluency in English
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree. MBA or related Master’s Degree is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time

Pay Transparency

The anticipated base salary range for this position is between $162,750 and $244,125. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location and relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
