Your mission
The Senior Sales Engineer is a senior-level technical expert and trusted advisor to customers, prospects, and UiPath’s field Sales organization. In this role, you will guide complex sales engagements, deeply understand customer challenges, and architect solutions and art-of-the-possible that deliver meaningful business outcomes. With significant customer-facing experience, you will lead technical strategy in the field, build strong executive relationships, and influence key decision-makers throughout the sales cycle.
As a senior technical expert, you will partner closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to align UiPath’s capabilities with customer priorities. You will also coach and mentor junior team members, helping elevate the overall technical acumen of the team.
What you'll do at UiPath
Own the technical strategy for key accounts and lead the end-to-end technical engagement in complex enterprise sales cycles.
Design and deliver compelling, industry-relevant demonstrations and Proof of Concepts that showcase UiPath’s innovation and strategic value.
Lead discovery workshops with customers to uncover pain points and map them to UiPath capabilities and solutions.
Translate technical solutions into business value, helping shape customer vision and influence executive stakeholders.
Stay ahead of automation trends and competitive solutions to advise customers with insight and credibility.
Mentor and coach junior Sales Engineers, providing guidance on best practices and solution design.
Deliver executive-level presentations that clearly articulate technical concepts in business terms.

Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Services teams to channel field insights and influence roadmap decisions.
What you'll bring to the team
8+ years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role.
3+ years of experience with UiPath or equivalent automation platforms, demonstrating deep platform and architectural expertise.
Proven track record of successfully leading technical engagements in enterprise sales cycles.
Strong business acumen and the ability to connect technical solutions to customer outcomes.
Experience engaging C-level stakeholders and guiding technical and business strategy across diverse industries.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C#, Java) and experience solving real-world technical problems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting to executive and technical audiences.
Demonstrated leadership in mentoring peers and contributing to team growth.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.
