What you’d be doing at UiPath:
Manager of SRE Managers. Leading several teams of SREs to build infrastructure, automation, tools, and best practices
Effectively communicate and collaborate with both partner engineering teams and as well as executive leadership
Own and drive key company-wide engineering initiatives such as observability, resilience, incident response, performance, or business continuity of our Cloud services
Architect, design, and hands-on implementation of infrastructure, automation, tooling, and best practices which can be adopted by all cloud engineering teams across the company
Inspire the team and partners by bringing in new ideas to the table, defining next-generation improvements and providing guidance on reliability best practices
Fosters a culture of innovations, encourages blameless, early failure to learn from mistakes
Continuously improve engineering practices to increase quality, velocity, productivity, and to provide better visibility on the progress of work
Mentor the teams and invest in continuous development of high-performing team of engineers by inspiring a sense of pride and ownership in the work they do. Coach less experienced managers
Retain existing talent and participate in hiring and attracting top industry talent
What will you bring:
Proven track record (10+yrs) of architecting and hands on engineering commercial large-scale products and services
Proven track record (3+) years of managing a team of engineers and other engineering managers in commercial product development
Experience architecting scalable multi-tenant services using container orchestration with vanilla or K8s based solutions as OpenShift, Mirantis, etc.
Excellent technical leadership and communication during a crisis. Able to act as either an Incident Commander or to dive deep into debugging and troubleshooting
Exceptional design and problem solving skills and coaching coding skills
Effective communication skills, ability to distill complex data and facilitate effective conversations
Experience building strategic roadmaps, tracking delivery, and managing accountability both up and down.
Experience with leading and hands-on development plus operation of cloud services at scale on Azure, AWS or GCP
Experience with monitoring, scaling, disaster recovery, and automating global cloud service
Proficiency in one or more object-oriented languages (such as C#/C++/Java) backend by solid computer science fundamentals, algorithms, data structure
Experience and ability to work with globally distributed team
Prefer a candidate local to Bellevue, Washington. We have a 2 day per week in-office hybrid work policy. Exceptional full time remote candidates can be considered.
