Life at UiPath

The people at UiPath believe in the transformative power of automation to change how the world works. We’re committed to creating category-leading enterprise software that unleashes that power.

To make that happen, we need people who are curious, self-propelled, generous, and genuine. People who love being part of a fast-moving, fast-thinking growth company. And people who care—about each other, about UiPath, and about our larger purpose.

Could that be you?

At UiPath, automation is at the heart of unlocking human potential. As we continue to revolutionize the automation landscape—with Agentic AI powering the next wave of intelligent, autonomous workflows—security remains our top priority. We're seeking a seasoned Deputy Chief Information Security Officer (Deputy CISO) to collaborate with our CISO in developing and executing a robust security strategy that safeguards our platform, customers, and business on a global scale.

Transforming Security at UiPath

This senior leadership role will have a far-reaching impact across our organization. You'll help lead high-performing teams, integrate security into our product and enterprise infrastructure, and represent our security program to both internal and external stakeholders. Your expertise will be crucial in keeping UiPath ahead of emerging threats while driving our growth as a leader in automation.

What you’ll do at UiPath

  • Co-lead the development and execution of UiPath's global information security strategy, policies, and risk management framework.

  • Provide strategic guidance across core security domains: Risk Management, Governance, Compliance, Security Operations, and Product Security.

  • Help build and lead global security teams, promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, IT, and Legal, to embed security into our SaaS platform and internal systems.

  • Drive security awareness and training initiatives to strengthen our internal security culture.

  • Oversee incident response planning and execution to ensure swift detection, containment, and resolution of security incidents.

  • Represent the security function to executive leadership and the board, communicating our risk posture, key metrics, and strategic priorities.

What you’ll bring

  • 15+ years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in senior executive leadership roles.

  • Proven track record of leading across risk, compliance, security operations, and product security functions.

  • Deep knowledge of security frameworks and global compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).

  • Experience in securing cloud-first and SaaS environments at scale.

  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to influence at the board and C-level.

  • Background in high-growth software or automation companies; prior CISO experience and relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are advantageous.

Maybe you don’t tick all the boxes above—but still think you’d be great for the job? Go ahead, apply anyway. Please. Because we know that experience comes in all shapes and sizes—and passion can’t be learned.
