As a Global Mobility, Immigration & Compliance Specialist, you will manage end-to-end mobility and immigration processes to support seamless international moves, enable business travel, and safeguard compliance across regions.
In this role, you’ll partner with the rest of the People team, Legal, and external vendors to deliver an exceptional employee experience while upholding legal, tax, and employment standards. You will also drive compliance programs, audits, and reporting that ensure UiPath remains ready, consistent, and globally aligned.
This is a highly cross-functional role requiring strong organizational skills, stakeholder management, and a solutions-oriented mindset. You’ll balance process rigor with care, helping employees navigate complex immigration and mobility situations with clarity and confidence.
What you'll do at UiPath
Manage end-to-end global relocation and immigration cases, serving as the primary liaison between employees, HR, Tax, Equity, Legal, and external counsel
Oversee visa and work permit processes across regions (with a focus on AMER region), including case preparation, filing, and status tracking
Support U.S. green card processes and corporate immigration cases (e.g., adjustment of status, work authorization renewals, Public Access Files, etc.)
Partner with external vendors to ensure timely, accurate documentation and proactive case management
Provide guidance and updates to employees, managers, and HRBPs on immigration requirements, timelines, and potential risks
Conduct regular audits of mobility and compliance processes; propose and implement remediation plans as needed
Monitor and share regulatory changes and immigration updates with stakeholders to drive awareness and readiness
Support global HR compliance programs, including audit readiness, data accuracy, and documentation best practices
Deliver clear, empathetic communication to employees navigating immigration and relocation processes
Partner with HRBPs and leaders to resolve complex mobility and compliance matters
Develop and maintain templates, frameworks, and resources to drive consistent, scalable practices
Support employee inquiries with timely and accurate information while escalating complex cases appropriately
Maintain tracking systems; prepare and analyze reports on case statuses, expiration timelines, and compliance metrics
Assist with RFE responses, immigration site visits, and regulatory inspections
Coordinate with finance teams on vendor management, invoicing, and cost tracking
Lead or support special projects related to immigration, mobility, and HR compliance

What you'll bring to the team
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a strong academic or professional background
2+ years of experience in employment immigration or global mobility (corporate or law firm environment preferred)
Knowledge of U.S. immigration processes; familiarity with international mobility frameworks is a plus
Experience collaborating with external immigration counsel and vendors
Proven ability to manage multiple cases/projects with precision, prioritization, and follow-through
Strong communication skills—able to explain complex processes clearly to diverse audiences
Stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across functions and regions
Experience with HR systems (Workday a plus); proficiency in tracking, auditing, and reporting
High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and commitment to data accuracy
