Life at UiPath
The people at UiPath believe in the transformative power of automation to change how the world works. We’re committed to creating category-leading enterprise software that unleashes that power.
To make that happen, we need people who are curious, self-propelled, generous, and genuine. People who love being part of a fast-moving, fast-thinking growth company. And people who care—about each other, about UiPath, and about our larger purpose.
Could that be you?
About the Role
We're looking for a Developer Evangelist to join our new Developer Relations team within Marketing. Your mission is to help grow and energize our developer community, especially those working on AI, agentic frameworks, and automation. You’ll do this by creating high-value content, engaging directly with developers across technical communities, and representing our work in the spaces where developers are already active.
This role sits at the intersection of engineering, content, and community. It’s ideal for someone who codes, communicates clearly, and genuinely enjoys sharing ideas and supporting others in public forums. Experience in a similar role—such as Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, or Technical Evangelism—at a company building infrastructure, open-source projects, or AI tools is highly valuable. We're looking for someone who's not just technical, but also comfortable with public engagement and storytelling across multiple platforms.
What You’ll Do:
Create and Share Technical Content
Write blog posts, tutorials, guides, and example projects to showcase how professional developers can use UiPath’s platform and tools, especially around AI agents and automation.
Build and maintain open-source repos on GitHub: code drops, integrations, tools, and starter kits.
Collaborate with product and engineering to translate roadmap updates into developer-relevant content.
Leverage technical content and use cases from the community in Hackathons and competitions etc.
Be Active Where Developers Are
X (Twitter): Share insights, engage in technical threads, and amplify product updates where the AI and dev communities already gather.
YouTube: Create and share short demos, walkthroughs, and explainer videos to showcase real-world use cases and how-tos.
Reddit: Post and respond in relevant subreddits. If agents are mentioned, we should be in the conversation.
Hacker News: Submit articles, launches, and projects for visibility.
Quora: Answer questions on agentic AI to shape awareness and credibility.
GitHub: Maintain repos, sponsor community projects, and contribute to relevant ecosystems.
Discord & Slack: Join existing communities like LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI; support developers, host AMAs, and share updates.
Podcasts: Be a guest on shows like Latent Space, Practical AI, The AI Breakdown, Software Engineering Daily, and more, highlighting our work and customer use cases.
Connect with the Community
Identify and support external developers building on our platform.
Collaborate with Product Marketing, Engineering, Community, and Content teams to amplify key launches and technical narratives.
Monitor community sentiment and feedback and feed insights back to product and marketing.
Attend and speak at industry and community events to represent the developer voice.
Represent UiPath at meetups & host developer focused hackathons, workshops and office hours.
What We’re Looking For:
Background in software development (or deep technical fluency); experience with Python, APIs, LLMs, agents, or automation is a plus.
Experience in Developer Relations, Technical Advocacy, or similar roles at companies working on developer tools, infrastructure, or AI/ML is highly valued.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, you can simplify complex topics for technical audiences without watering them down.
Track record of creating content and building presence across GitHub, blogs, Reddit, Discord, Twitter, etc.
Comfortable being a public voice for the company across channels and formats, from online forums to podcast appearances.
Open-source or community involvement is a bonus, but not required if you’ve demonstrated a strong presence in developer ecosystems
