Your mission

The Senior Business Analyst (Sr. BA) helps lead complex, cross-functional automation initiatives and drives high-value automation opportunities across the enterprise. This role operates with a high degree of autonomy and serves as a strategic advisor to business stakeholders, ensuring automation solutions deliver measurable business outcomes aligned to enterprise objectives.

The Sr. BA goes beyond documenting processes — they identify transformational automation opportunities, influence solution design decisions, shape change adoption strategies and contribute to reusable assets and best practices that elevate UiPath’s internal automation maturity.

What you'll do at UiPath

  1. Strategic Opportunity Identification & Business Case Development

  • Proactively identify and evaluate high-value, cross-functional automation opportunities aligned to enterprise strategy.

  • Assess feasibility, complexity, scalability, and ROI of automation initiatives.

  • Define and quantify business cases with measurable outcomes (cost savings, efficiency gains, risk reduction, quality improvement).

  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders in prioritizing automation initiatives.

  • Contribute to building and sustaining a robust automation pipeline.

  1. Complex Process Analysis & Solution Shaping

  • Lead end-to-end discovery for complex processes, including detailed As-Is and scalable To-Be designs.

  • Collaborate with Solution Architects to influence high-level solution architecture decisions.

  • Ensure requirements are complete, scalable, and aligned to enterprise architecture standards.

  • Serve as a quality gate for functional documentation (PDD validation and requirement clarity).

  • Anticipate downstream impacts across systems, integrations, and operating models.

  1. Stakeholder Leadership & Influence

  • Lead workshops with senior stakeholders to shape automation vision and solution direction.

  • Communicate automation sources of value in business terms tailored to executive audiences.

  • Navigate ambiguity and resolve complex scope or requirement conflicts.

  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, Solution Architects, and Developers.

  • Guide and mentor junior Business Analysts when applicable.

  1. Delivery Oversight & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Solution Architects and Developers through design, testing, and deployment phases.

  • Facilitate alignment on scope, acceptance criteria, and business validation.

  • Independently manage analysis deliverables across multiple initiatives.

  • Proactively identify risks, interdependencies, and mitigation strategies.

  • Support Agile ceremonies and facilitate stand-ups as needed.

  1. Change Management & Adoption Strategy

  • Design and implement change management strategies to drive sustainable automation adoption.

  • Develop stakeholder communication plans that promote “automation-first” mindset.

  • Identify adoption barriers and implement mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure business readiness for deployment and post-implementation transition.

  1. Platform & Industry Expertise

  • Maintain strong knowledge of UiPath platform capabilities and emerging automation technologies.

  • Leverage enterprise application expertise (e.g., Salesforce, Workday, NetSuite, Concur, Coupa, etc.) to identify integration opportunities.

  • Stay current on automation trends and recommend innovative use cases.

  • Promote reuse of automation components and blueprint patterns.

  1. Knowledge Contribution & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and document reusable solutions and process blueprints.

  • Contribute to best practices, methodologies, and industry points of view.

  • Develop internal case studies and success stories to promote automation impact.

  • Drive continuous improvement in BA practices and documentation standards.

What you'll bring to the team

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in business process analysis, operations consulting, or automation initiatives.

  • Demonstrated experience in complex, cross-functional process transformation.

  • Experience with enterprise applications such as Salesforce, Workday, NetSuite, Concur, Coupa, etc.

  • Strong analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills.

  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.

  • Experience working in global, cross-functional environments.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of UiPath and Agentic technologies.

  • UiPath Business Analyst certification (Professional level preferred).

  • Experience in Agile methodologies and JIRA or equivalent collaboration tools.

  • Experience designing change management strategies.
