Your mission
As an Account Manager, your primary objective will be to increase the P&L of France & Benelux region by sourcing and executing profitable transactions. This will require a combination of analytical skills and effective client interaction.
Your role is pivotal in enhancing Vanilla Steel's growth and establishing robust, profitable operations. You will engage in diverse company activities, specifically tailored to align with Vanilla Steel’s evolving business needs.
You can expect to:
Manage France & Benelux metal markets
Generate brokerage and trading activity on behalf of Vanilla Steel
Ensure thorough follow-up on deals, coordinating with the operations team for seamless logistics and payment processes
Leverage existing client relationships - be a key account manager for our French-speaking customers with both supplier and buyer coverage
Proactively reach out to potential new clients, initiating cold contacts and arranging meetings to expand our customer base
Manage operational activities of the trading platform, such as preparing transactional data and order confirmations
Analyse and report on operational processes to increase efficiencies and scalability
