Your mission
We’re looking for a driven and entrepreneurial Account Manager to oversee our operations in France and the Benelux region. Your core mission will be to grow the P&L by sourcing, negotiating, and executing profitable steel transactions. This role combines analytical insight with strategic relationship management and is key to accelerating Vanilla Steel’s expansion in the European market.
You’ll play an integral role in shaping our trading activities, building lasting relationships with suppliers and buyers, and ensuring operational excellence across the deal lifecycle.
What You’ll Be Doing
Manage and grow Vanilla Steel’s trading and brokerage activity across France and Benelux
Act as the primary point of contact for key French-speaking clients—maintaining strong relationships with both suppliers and buyers
Source and close profitable trading deals, working closely with our operations team to ensure smooth execution and logistics
Identify and reach out to potential new clients - through cold calls, emails, and meetings - to expand our customer base
Handle operational aspects of the trading platform, including preparing order data and transactional documentation
Analyze operational workflows to drive efficiency and support scalability
Provide regular performance insights and market feedback to the broader team
