What You Will Do
- Build & Deploy: Architect, build, and maintain production-grade real-time video processing pipelines. You will drive deployment across diverse hardware platforms, from edge devices to the cloud.
- Optimize Performance: Take charge of optimizing the runtime efficiency of advanced AI models and classic Computer Vision algorithms, ensuring they perform flawlessly in the real world.
- Bridge the Gap: Translate research breakthroughs into stable, high-performance software products.
- Lead & Mentor: Act as a technical anchor for the team, mentoring junior engineers and helping to shape our engineering culture.
- Experience: 5+ years of software engineering experience in an academic or industrial setting.
- Education: BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field.
- Tech Stack: Deep proficiency in Python and extensive experience developing in a Linux environment.
- Leadership: Experience mentoring junior engineers or acting as a Tech Lead.
- Mindset: A "builder" mentality—you have the ability and desire to work in the fast-paced, dynamic environment of an early-stage company.
- Understanding of deep learning concepts, state-of-the-art Computer Vision research, and the mathematics behind machine learning.
- Proficiency in popular computational and deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Experience with video protocols and streaming tools (Gstreamer, FFmpeg).
- Hands-on experience with hardware integration, ROS, serial communications, or camera calibration tools.
