Job summary:
Software Engineers at WK are dependable individual contributors, focused on tasks within their teams. We look for self-starters who are proactive and can contribute to product features. They should adhere to best practices and principles, and will be a part of a cross-functional, Agile team.
Although this is a fully remote position, only candidates based in the European Union or India will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with stakeholders, Product Managers, and other developers to break down high-level requirements into user stories
- Building, documenting, and testing features in our API first wealthtech platform
- Writing clean code and tests.
- Identifying and troubleshooting software issues
- Providing feedback on PRs
- Competent, quick learner, works on coding pieces with proper supervision
- Participates in code reviews, testing software systems, clear understanding of best practices (Clean code, Solid Principles) for writing code.
- Able to design software to solve a specific problem.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with C#, .Net Core, REST APIs. Microservices, Event Sourcing experience highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven track record of building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Fluency in English
