About the job
WK’s Head of Wealth Solutions is a pivotal role that will report directly to the CEO. This position will not only lead our growth initiatives in the wealth management space but will also play a crucial role in shaping the company's overall strategy. Tasked with driving significant revenue growth, the Head of Wealth Solutions will work tirelessly to establish and cultivate strong relationships with key clients.
- Develop and execute a go-to-market commercial strategy focused on revenue growth within the Wealth Management sector.
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of sales representatives to achieve both individual and team objectives.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key clients at all levels, from C-suite to operational stakeholders.
- Work closely with the product team to tailor our offerings based on the specific needs of clients.
- Collaborate with Marketing to drive lead generation and execute campaigns to scale the top of the sales funnel and improve conversion rates.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and KPI tracking to the executive team, ensuring we meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Set up and continuously optimise internal sales processes to support the delivery of ambitious objectives.
- Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and client meetings to promote our brand and solutions.
- Identify opportunities for growth within the Wealth Management sector, keeping an eye on market trends and competitor activities.
- Engage directly in client initiatives, performing market and technology analysis to address unique client challenges and outpace competitors.
- Extensive experience in sales or growth-focused roles, ideally in a FinTech setting.
- A minimum of 10 years of specialised experience in the Wealth Management industry, with a preference for candidates who have worked in PaaS or SaaS companies.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
- A well-established network within the Wealth Management industry, particularly in the UK.
- Prior work experience in the UK market is essential; experience in the broader EMEA region will be considered a strong asset.
- A keen interest in and understanding of FinTech and the evolving landscape of financial services.
- The ability to articulate informed opinions about the impact of technology on banking, payments, investments, and insurance.
- Versatility in both strategic formulation and advisory roles, ideally in both financial services and technology sectors.
- Comfort and enthusiasm for working in agile, multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to lead workshops and training sessions.
- Outstanding client management abilities, with a track record of building trusted relationships.
- Prior experience in developing pitch books.
- The capacity to work effectively with executives across various departments in a fast-paced, priority-shifting environment.
- Demonstrable skill in articulating complex concepts in structured presentations.
- Experience in deal negotiation and closure.
