Job Description

We are looking for a Localisation Manager to join our global localisation team.

Our localisation team is passionate about the Wise mission and wants to make sure that more countries and customers hear about it.

Our mission as a team is to enable international growth via high-quality localisation in all languages, whilst ensuring that every part of the customer experience feels consistently local and relevant.

This is an exciting role in which you will be able to make an impact and improve the customer experience in the APAC region, working with key stakeholders and a growing team of localisation specialists in order to refine the strategy for their existing languages and markets as well as launch new languages to support Wise in their market expansion.

You need to have several years of experience in a localisation management position, having managed a team of linguists, ideally in the fintech or ecommerce industry, with experience in localising for the APAC region specifically.

Your mission

  • Lead a team of Localisation Specialists in charge of localising the Wise Product/Marketing/Support contents

  • Ensure appropriate levels of utilisation and refine our outsourcing strategy to achieve the best outcome in terms of time, quality and costs.

  • Set and monitor Localisation quality standards in the team

  • Collaborate with the rest of the Localisation team to promote synergies between markets and refine our tools, workflows and processes

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement in your team, consistently questioning the status quo and innovating where needed

  • Liaise and partner with key stakeholders in marketing, product or support teams to improve the customer experience for your region

  • Flex the Localisation methodology in your team to drive efficiencies where appropriate

  • Help your team with their development and growth, leading by example with your own demonstrated growth mindset
