We’re looking for an EMEA Commercial Director who is passionate about the Wise mission – money without borders. You’ll be a part of the Wise Platform team, leading the EMEA Sales team, helping us surpass our goals and deliver world class payment service solutions to our partners and their customers across the EMEA region.

We’ve launched partnerships globally, with the likes of Google Pay, Aspire, Xero and Mandiri, and today have 70+ global banks and platforms connected and powered by Wise Platform.


Job Description

As a Senior Sales Leader, you will lead and coach a team of high-performing Business Development and Account Managers, working toward ambitious goals to deliver predictable revenue and growth across the EMEA region at Wise. You will be hands-on, whether this is helping the sales teams in deals, building executive relationships with senior stakeholder partners, helping negotiate product requirements or supporting the process of getting partners live. As a senior member of the team, you will lead by example in working cross functionally and operating at the highest level in a matrix organisation, liaising across teams such as product, engineering, customer support and operations.

Your mission:

  • Create a “Go-To-Market” strategy that aligns to our business goals, and support its execution and evolution.

  • Drive a culture of high performance that is backed by clear results.

  • Support the sales team in building an awesome pipeline that yields high conversion and fast time to impact.

  • Take an active role in opportunities throughout the sales cycle as needed.

  • Nurture excellent relationships with our existing partners and ensure they love the experience we offer them

  • Shape market leading products and experiences for our partners by working closely with product and engineering teams

  • Work with Marketing and Sales Enablement to develop strategies that enable us to capture market share with high level of proficiency

  • Grow the sales team to meet future and potential goals


Qualifications

  • We are looking for an executive who has a proven track record (10+ years) of building sales teams and delivering outstanding results with a customer first obsession for the long term.

  • You’re able to set strategy and help teams deliver against these, building consensus across multiple functions, even where competing priorities exist.

  • You have a deep understanding of the cross border payments landscapes and understand how to capture opportunity in this space

  • You have fresh ideas – You’re prepared to challenge the status quo and are interested in solving problems. You are able to communicate the impact of those ideas and formulate and execute on plans to implement them.

  • You’re an excellent, influential communicator. You can adapt your communication style to different audiences. You’re able to persuade others and you aren’t afraid to challenge something when you need to.

  • You’re analytical and into the detail - data driven on tracking performance and assessing opportunities to increase productivity

  • You are proactive - you see a problem and start to solve it without waiting for others to be involved

  • You are Mission-driven and customer-focused - looking for synergistic partnerships that will benefit the customer and contribute to the Wise Mission
