Job Description

A Bit About The Role

We are looking to hire a Finance Manager, APAC (12-month FTC) to join our APAC Regional Finance team in Australia, Sydney!

You will assist in growing our finance capabilities to steer the organisation in the right direction ensuring compliance with local accounting, regulatory and tax requirements.

Your Mission:

  • Work with Accounting, Regulatory Reporting team, Regional Controllers & Compliance teams to help deliver compliant and accurate reporting with clear definitions and change management.
  • Compile monthly, quarterly and yearly reports for submitting to regulatory authorities. Support with ad-hoc financial reporting requests.
  • Work with the Compliance team and Regional Controllers to provide financial data during regulatory examinations and financial audits.
  • Help the APAC Regional Finance team in performing day-to-day overview of legal entities, including analysing financial results and making sure necessary financial controls are performed.

Work with other finance teams to ensure systems, controls and processes are prepared for regional requirements.

Qualifications

A bit about you

  • Experience in Financial Controlling, Financial Audit, Financial Reporting or Management Accounting.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Experience in working with large datasets and building financial reports for businesses like ours.
  • Cross-functional collaboration in a complex environment.

Skills

  • Advanced financial reporting and analysis skills.
  • You are accurate and detail oriented, great at finishing detailed jobs and meeting deadlines.
  • You are a self-starter and can organise your own work.
  • Able to communicate issues to all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Have an ability to move beyond Excel and dig into raw data.
  • Have exposure or understand tax and regulatory rules & frameworks.
