We’re looking for a Global Pre Sales Consultants Lead to join our fast growing Wise Platform team in London. You’ll help banks, software companies and large enterprises leverage Wise’s infrastructure to offer their customers world class payments products through their own channels. This will help us transform the international payments experience for even more customers and have a significant impact on Wise’s mission.

You’ll be our first Global Presales Consultants Lead, helping set the bar for the Pre Sales function in delivering world class payment service solutions to our partners and their customers. We’ve launched partnerships globally, with the likes of Google Pay, Aspire, Xero and Mandiri, and today have 80+ global banks and platforms connected and powered by Wise Platform.


Job Description

As our first Global Presales Lead to play a crucial role leading and coaching our team, working towards ambitious goals to deliver our growth objectives globally for Wise Platform.

We’re looking for someone with experience developing and scaling a high performing pre sales team. You will be hands-on, whether this is helping the Pre Sales teams in deals, building executive relationships with senior stakeholder partners, helping influence and define product requirements, applying your expertise and product knowledge to design intelligent, and scalable payment solutions for our prospective partners.

You’lll lead by example in working cross functionally and operating at the highest level in a matrix organisation, liaising across teams such as sales, product, delivery, engineering and operations.

You will also define and execute on a global Presale strategy - setting a clear vision to deliver excellence for our teams and partners. Our Pre Sales Consultants operates globally, currently based out of offices in Singapore, London and within the US.

Your mission

  • Develop and execute an ambitious Global Presales strategy that aligns to our business goals and sets the bar on what great looks like for Presales

  • Drive a culture of high performance within the team backed by clear results

  • Accountable to deliver revenue alongside the business development and delivery teams being a key stakeholder within the deal flow team

  • Shape market leading solutions and experiences for partners by working closely with product and engineering teams

  • Provide technical support during the sales cycle, including solution design, proposal creation, and client discussions as needed


Qualifications

  • We're seeking an executive with extensive experience building Pre Sales or Sales Engineering teams and delivering exceptional, customer-focused results

  • You’re able to set strategy and help teams deliver against these, building consensus across multiple functions, even where competing priorities exist

  • You have a deep understanding of cross-border payments and know how to capture opportunities in this space, with strong knowledge of REST APIs, SWIFT, and local payment networks, especially for technical sales and solutions design

  • You have fresh ideas – You’re prepared to challenge the status quo and are interested in solving problems. You are able to communicate the impact of those ideas and formulate and execute on plans to implement them

  • You’re an excellent, influential communicator. You can adapt your communication style to different audiences. You’re able to persuade others and you aren’t afraid to challenge something when you need to

  • You’re analytical and into the detail - data driven on tracking performance and assessing opportunities to increase productivity and convert sales

  • You are proactive - you see a problem and start to solve it without waiting for others to be involved

  • You are Mission-driven and customer-focused - looking for synergistic partnerships that will benefit the customer and contribute to the Wise Mission


Additional Information

Salary for this role is banded between £120,000 - £165,000 plus RSUs.
