Job Description

Role Overview

Wise is looking for a dedicated contractor within our training function that has experience in both project management and training design and development (D&D). As Training D&D Project Manager you will be responsible for building and implementing the training D&D framework to our servicing teams. Our servicing tribe is made up of a host of different functions, such as QA, Complaints and Customer Service and these Wisers are based in different locations across the world, so you’ll need to be comfortable adapting and tailoring training frameworks for a wide range of functions and global geographies.

As Training D&D Project Manager you will be responsible for leading and implementing high-impact projects and influencing across the organisation to continue development of our world-class servicing function. You will need to be able to build exceptional relationships across the organisation quickly, to understand training D&D needs. You’ll also need to have outstanding project management skills. You will be comfortable working autonomously and take full ownership of end to end project management, right from the beginning of collecting requirements and identifying stakeholders, through to implementation and measuring results.

The ideal candidate will have a background in both Project Management and Training/Learning and Development (L&D). They will have experience of using the ADDIE model and can provide examples of where this model was used to implement a successful training intervention. They will also have a real solid understanding and can display examples of where they used training effectiveness models (such as Kirkpatrick or Phillips ROI). In addition to this experience, the ideal candidate must be data driven and is comfortable using data to tell a story and measure success of training programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • End to end project management of training D&D.

  • Lead and take ownership of all D&D workstreams across training, offering insights and recommendations from past experience to improve the quality of training interventions.

  • Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to design, build, implement and measure success of training frameworks and programs.

  • Utilise excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to ensure all frameworks and programs implemented are communicated clearly.

  • Utilise past work experience in training/L&D and use models such as ADDIE and kirkpatrick to effectively design, deliver and evaluate training programs.

  • Adopt best practice in project management, ensuring that all project documentation is built, maintained and updated throughout projects.

  • Use influencing skills to balance and manage stakeholder needs and requirements when required.

  • Proactively collect, analyse and use data to evaluate and measure whether training interventions were a success, offering recommendations on how to improve in the future.

  • Support the development of the wider training team by using best practice in project management, change management and internal communications to implement successful projects and training interventions.

  • Support with a number of ad hoc training projects as needed, openly sharing best practice and insights to improve training content overall.


Qualifications

Requirements

  • Strong project management experience and skills.

  • Experience working within high performing training teams, with a focus on design & development of training.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.

  • Confident working with stakeholders of all levels of the organisation.

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work at pace, prioritising where required and proactively flagging challenges to project sponsors.
