Legal Operations Manager
We’re looking for a Legal Operations Manager to join our growing Legal Team in London.
This role is a unique opportunity to shape and streamline our operational processes, enhance efficiency and productivity, and support the Legal, Privacy, and Company Secretarial teams to help deliver Wise’s mission of money without borders.
Your mission:
Wise continues to pioneer new ways for people and businesses to send, spend, receive and manage their money across borders and currencies.
Your mission is to innovate and drive efficiency within our legal operations, enabling the Legal Tribe to perform at its best and support the broader business.
About the role:
Operational Processes: Implement and manage operational processes to enhance efficiency and boost productivity. Recommend and execute improvements to streamline workflows, such as optimising hiring and onboarding, how Wisers seek assistance from the Legal Tribe and ensuring efficient updating and maintenance of Wise's global terms and conditions.
Team management. Work with our People Partner to help develop and manage a high-performing team, including through performance reviews, implementing action plans from employee feedback, updating career maps with aligned compensation, and optimising hiring and onboarding.
Technology and Tooling: Evaluate, select, implement and manage appropriate technologies and tooling to support the Legal Tribe's needs.
Project Management: Lead and manage cross-team projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.
Spend Monitoring: Keep a close eye on external spend, including managing relationships, invoices and budgets for external counsel, insurance providers and other third-party vendors.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process to ensure financial resources are allocated effectively and align with strategic goals.
Knowledge Management: Own the knowledge management process, including maintaining internal intranet pages and managing both external and internal legal advice. Develop efficient document storage solutions, including evidence handling.
Contracts Lifecycle Management: Operationalise contracts lifecycle and contract management to ensure seamless handling and tracking of contracts from initiation to execution.
Training & Development: Organise external training programs for the Legal, Privacy, and Company Secretarial teams to advance their professional development and stay updated with industry best practices.
Matter Tracking: Monitor and track key deals, ensuring documentation and timelines are adhered to.

Work with the Legal Tribe (based in London, Tallinn, Brussels, New York, Austin, Tampa, Singapore, and São Paulo) to deliver initiatives that will impact the wider group.
Be part of our mission to make money without borders the new normal.
About you:
