Job Description

Our Card Dispute and Chargeback team is one of the frontiers of the exciting Wise world, helping our customers recover the cost of their problematic transactions, making sure we stay compliant with the card scheme and the relevant regulations, and pushing our partners to excel with us. Our aim is to constantly improve our disputes and chargeback operations, supporting Wise mission while offering the best possible experience to our customers.

Within this team, the Card Dispute Tooling Senior Specialist plays a crucial role in managing internal tooling, system configuration, and supporting solution design. This position is key to ensuring our tools are performing optimally, driving process improvements through technology, and collaborating across teams to innovate.

What you'll get to do:

  • Manage internal back-office tooling, ensuring optimal configuration and performance in collaboration with engineering and product teams.
  • Oversee and contribute to automation processes.
  • Collaborate with teams to improve internal tools and processes, ensuring they meet business needs.
  • Proactively identify improvements to enhance tool functionality and user experience.
  • Contribute to standardization efforts across tools and processes, ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Stay up-to-date with card dispute resolution processes, spending 5-10% of your time on resolving customer disputes


Qualifications

  • You are located in Tallinn, Estonia and have a right to work here
  • Ability to map complex processes with minimal guidance and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Ability to suggest and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and performance.
  • Basic project management skills, with the ability to develop detailed project plans, manage timelines, and meet objectives.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various levels.
  • Ability to leverage data to support decision-making and process improvements.
  • Ability to take initiative in identifying areas for improvement and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Experience with tools such as Superset, Figma, Confluence, Google Docs, Google Sheets, or similar.

It would be nice if you have:

  • Experience working within a cross-office team.
  • Experience within card issuing, acquiring institutions or merchants (in Wise included).
  • Some experience in project management or data analysis
  • Experience with SQL
