As a DevOps Engineer at Wluper, you will have the opportunity to design and develop creative, compelling, fault-tolerant and cutting-edge cloud-systems that support our mission.
You will be involved in various stages of each product's lifespan and should remain abreast of technological advancements to promote efficiency. You combine technical, communication, analytical capabilities and enjoy mentoring junior staff.
What you will do at Wluper
- Maintaining, automating, and improving our development and release infrastructure using a variety of tools to enable fast delivery and testing of our core products
- Streamlining our automated software build
- Testing and releasing processes
- Advancing our Containerization roadmap
- Identifying appropriate use of cloud operational best practices
- Implementing and controlling the flow of data to and from the cloud
- Making architecture design decisions based on compute, data, or security requirements and ensuring post-release product stability

What you will bring to the Wluper team
- BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience in deployment, debugging and monitoring of cloud-systems at scale
- Experience scripting with Python (FastAPI) and another programming language (e.g. NodeJS/Javascript)
- Hands-on experience of implementation and maintenance of multi-stage CI/CD pipelines (blue-green deployment and roll-back functionality)
- Experience with automation of processes and procedures and Configuration Management in Terraform
- Knowledge of AWS (Lambda, VPC, S3, Route 53, DynamoDB, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, CloudWatch etc.)
- Knowledge of virtualization and container technology (Docker, Kubernetes etc.)
- Experience with logging, monitoring and alerting solutions (Elastic Stack)
- Hands-on experience building ELT pipelines with Airflow
Nice to haves for this role
- Experience in microservice oriented architectures
- Experience with MLOps including tools such as Kubeflow, Seldon Core, AWS SageMaker
- Proficient with large-scale data-serving/compute libraries and software, such as Hadoop, Spark, Apache Mesos, Apache Kafka etc
