What’s Yonder?
“It's as if Time Out, Amex and Monzo had a baby” - Will T, Yonder Member
We’re building the financial membership of the future. One that works for how you live now. Not how your parents banked in the ‘90s.
Yonder combines credit or debit in one membership, designed to be fair, flexible, and actually enjoyable to use. No confusing terms. No dusty points system. Just rewards that actually feel rewarding - from bao to beer to a boarding pass.
Sounds cool. What’s my part in this?
Over the last year we've added a debit card, a free membership tier, hundreds of new partners around the country, countless product improvements and our personal favourite, Yonder Hotels, a new way to use Yonder points on hotels around the world. We've maintained a 4.5 Trustpilot rating and our members really love us (and we love them back... hi!).
Over the last few years, we've grown from just an idea to a beautiful, fully regulated financial product that our members absolutely love - especially the support we provide them.
Travel is where rewards matter most. It's what members save their points for, what they talk about and what keeps them coming back. Whether it's a long-haul flight, a city break or a ski trip, our members trust us to help them travel better and get more back for it.
What you'll do
We're looking for a Senior Partnerships Manager to own Yonder's Travel category. You'll inherit an established book of partners, own the category plan and its spend and revenue targets, and lead new business across the full travel ecosystem: airlines and their loyalty programmes, OTAs and metasearch, travel tech and distribution, hotel groups, tour operators and holiday providers.
This is a commercial role first, but a technical one too. Travel partnerships increasingly live at the integration layer: how content is distributed, how bookings are attributed and how loyalty value moves between programmes. You'll be the person who can sit across from an airline's distribution team on Monday, talk through an NDC or API integration with our Product team on Tuesday, and close a commercial deal with an OTA on Wednesday.
You'll work closely with our SDR, our Partner Success Manager and our Rewards Product squad, and you'll be accountable for the spend and revenue the category drives through our partner rewards network. You'll be speaking to everyone from founder-led travel startups to C-suite and distribution leaders at some of the world's largest airlines and travel brands.
Here's what a day might look like:
Owning the Travel category plan and its spend and revenue targets: where we play, which brands we go after, and how we hit the number
Building Yonder's airline proposition and wider travel pipeline, mapping the ecosystem (airlines, GDSs, NDC aggregators, OTAs, metasearch, bedbanks) and finding the right decision makers across commercial, distribution, loyalty and ecommerce teams
Structuring and negotiating deals that work for both sides, from commission-based OTA partnerships and affiliate deals to points transfer agreements, and taking them through contracting with our legal team
Getting partners live: scoping integrations with Product and Engineering (API, SDK or affiliate-led), and bringing Marketing, Finance, Legal and Partner Success along so launches land on time
Growing our existing book, optimising performance across the booking calendar (January booking season, summer peaks, ski season), finding upsell and reporting on the category to leadership
You're a great fit if you
✅ Know travel, ideally airlines. You've built your career in or alongside travel, and airline partnerships, distribution or loyalty experience is a big plus. You might have come from an airline, a GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport), a challenger distribution or travel tech business (Duffel, Travelfusion, Kiwi.com and the like), or an OTA or metasearch brand (Expedia, Skyscanner, Booking.com, Trip.com). You understand how travel businesses make money, how they think about acquisition, direct versus indirect distribution and loyalty, and who makes the decisions.
✅ Have a product mindset. You're commercial at heart, but terms like NDC, API, SDK, GDS, PNR and merchant of record aren't alien to you. You don't need to write code, but you can hold your own with a partner's tech team, spot when a commercial idea depends on an integration, and bring a clear brief back to our Product team.
✅ Are a natural hunter who also knows how to grow an account. You get a real kick out of finding the right brand, crafting the right message and turning a cold lead into a partnership. You're just as good at taking an existing partner and making it bigger. You've built pipeline from scratch, you know how to manage volume without losing quality, and you want a place where that drive is matched and rewarded.
✅ Own a number. You've carried a spend or revenue target before, and you know how to plan a category, prioritise your time and forecast honestly.
✅ Have strong commercial acumen. You think like a business owner, not just a salesperson. Your deals have a direct impact on our P&L, so you'll need to hold your own in those conversations: margin, commission, distribution costs, points economics, value exchange, and what a good deal looks like for both sides.
✅ Are comfortable with contracts. You've negotiated commercial terms, worked through NDAs and redlines, and know when to push back and when to bring legal in.
✅ Are resilient and keep going when it's tough. Airline deals take time and patience. You don't need external motivation to dust yourself off and go again. You set your own bar, and it's high.
✅ Sell from the heart, not a script. You believe in what you're selling, and it shows. You build real relationships with the brands you bring on because you care about their success, not just closing the deal.
✅ Back your own instincts but are hungry to keep learning. You spot an opportunity and move without waiting to be told. You're equally comfortable being challenged, taking feedback on board and evolving how you work.
✅ Are a team player who makes the room better. Our team is the most important thing we have at Yonder. We want someone who lifts others, shares what's working and brings positive energy.
Bonus points if you've:
Worked on airline partnerships at a bank, card issuer or fintech, such as co-brand cards, loyalty currency or points transfer partnerships, or travel rewards propositions
Worked inside an airline loyalty programme or on the commercial side of NDC adoption
Taken a travel partnership from first conversation through technical integration to launch
You won't be a great fit if you
👎 Want to do it all yourself. Our SDR opens doors and our Partner Success Manager keeps partners running smoothly. Your job is to point them at the right brands, close the deals and make the three of you work as one team.
👎 Want a pure outbound or account management role. You'll be the one in the room with decision makers, structuring commercial deals from startup to enterprise and owning the category number.
👎 Want to stay purely commercial and leave the tech to someone else. Much of the value in travel sits in how partnerships are built and integrated, so you'll need to be curious about the product side and comfortable working with it.
👎 Would rather close the deal and walk away. Partner Success handles the day to day, but you still own the commercial relationship with your biggest partners: performance, upsell and renewals.
👎 Want someone else to set the plan. You'll own the Travel category plan and its spend and revenue targets, and decide where we play.
👎 Need a household-name brand and a big marketing budget behind every pitch. You're selling a fast-growing membership, so your story and your commercials have to do the work.
👎 Would take any deal to hit the number. Our members trust us to curate their Experiences, so a partnership has to be right for them, not just for the target.
