About Dreamdata
Dreamdata is the industry leader in B2B marketing attribution and revenue optimization. We're on a mission to help B2B marketing leaders finally connect their efforts directly to real revenue - solving a complex problem that plagued the industry for years.
Founded in 2019 by ex-Trustpilot (TRST:LSE) product and engineering leaders, Dreamdata was born from a real-world need, building the platform they always wished they'd had.
It's working. We have achieved strong product-market fit and are experiencing explosive, triple-digit YoY growth. This momentum is now backed by a recent $55,000,000 Series B funding round set to fuel our rocketship as we scale globally.
We are expanding rapidly and looking for exceptional, top-tier talent to help us build the future of B2B marketing.
The Opportunity
We are expanding our product team in Copenhagen further empower our customers and ensure their success.
As an Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for building and iterating on our main product, ensuring that data pipelines and transformations are built using best practices and are transparent and easy-to-use for our customers.
A key part of your role will involve standardizing the chaos of the B2B SaaS ecosystem. You will work extensively with data ingested from various third-party APIs (HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Ads, LinkedIn, etc.), mapping these disparate sources into a unified, clean data model that powers our attribution engine."
You'll thrive in this role if you:
- Experience: Have 3-6 years of experience in a data related role such as analytics engineer, data engineer, data analyst, data scientist or a similar role
- Data Modeling: Have real-world experience in working with data from multiple sources, extracting, visualizing, and explaining insights to stakeholders. Previous experience working with marketing and sales data is considered a plus
- API Knowledge: Have deep familiarity with Third-Party APIs. You are comfortable working with API documentation and endpoints (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Ads). You can construct requests to fetch sample data, inspect the JSON response, and reverse-engineer the logic needed to map it correctly
- SQL Fluency: Are fluent in SQL. We use Google BigQuery, but experience with other cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Azure SQL etc. is equally relevant
- Transformation: Have experience with data transformation. We use Google Dataform for the majority of data transformations but experience with dbt or transformation libraries like Pandas, Polar, tidyr, dplyr etc. is also relevant
- Coding: Our core data ingestion product is written in Golang. You will not be expected to write production-level backend services, but you will sit close to the code. A willingness to read Go code and write ad-hoc scripts to test API responses is important for success in this role.
- Version Control: Know version control software. We use Github, but other version control systems are equally relevant
- Cloud: Have exposure to running software on public clouds. We are heavy users of Google Cloud Platform, but exposure to the other public clouds are also considered a plus
- Mindset: Take ownership from design to deployment, and make pragmatic decisions independently. Know how to strike a balance between velocity and over-engineering
- Are excited about delivering real value to users
If you think the role sounds exciting, but you don't match all points, don't hesitate to reach out as we are continuously hiring also with opportunities for less senior profiles.
This is not a remote role.
