What are we looking for?

We’re looking for a Business Development Representative who wants to help us scale a rapidly growing startup. This is a pivotal role for the business, giving you direct access to customers in the early stages of the sales process and providing the ability to work directly with senior members of the business.

The right person will have a strong opportunity-focused mindset, be willing to grab the significant personal development opportunities on offer and bring a positive-can do mindset to their work (resulting in significantly good vibes). We’re a driven team of highly curious people, who are comfortable taking responsibility and driving work streams forward independently. You need to be a fast learner with great attention to detail and organisational skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

You don’t need to know much about AI and law before you start but an ability to learn quickly and grasp the unique selling points of the business is crucial.

Your responsibilities

  • Play a central role in creating new business opportunities at the top of the sales funnel, working directly with the CEO and GTM Lead
  • Research and build a pipeline of leads
  • Contact leads in order to qualify their suitability and readiness for the product
  • Book meetings, in line with targets
  • Keep leads warm if they are not yet ready for a meeting
  • Contribute to and refine our outreach strategy
  • Drive attendance to our webinars and events
  • Attend industry conferences to build leads

Our requirements

  • Self-starter with a high level of drive, intellectual curiosity and grit
  • Ideally some sales experience
  • People-driven and able to make personal connections to drive the sales process (... aka, being a yapper!!)
  • Creative thinker
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Incredible attention to detail
