One of the biggest growth efforts we’re shooting for this year is solidifying our brand across our European markets with a focus on Spain, France, The Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Germany and UK. It takes a team effort to make this all successful, and we’re looking for someone who can slot into an incredibly busy proactive press office and keep the plates spinning!
This person will play a hands-on role, assisting the PR Lead in driving key comms and PR projects across our key markets, supporting the management of key external agencies and the day-to-day press activity. The person who steps into this role will need to be confident, forward thinking and be able to work autonomously, adapting quickly to new environments and juggle multiple projects simultaneously. You’ll be part of a two person team, reporting directly to the Global PR Lead!
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented PR Executive to support our PR activities in these regions and assist with the UK market. This role will involve tactical execution and coordination.
With career progression in mind, this role will have a clear growth plan to develop. You’ll be encouraged to learn, given opportunities to expand your knowledge and experience first-hand, and see the inner workings of a successful fintech scale-up.
What You'll Do:
- Assist with Regional PR Execution: Support the implementation of our PR strategy across 7 markets, ensuring alignment with our broader European goals.
- Coordinate with Agencies: Help manage and liaise with local PR agencies, ensuring they meet expectations and deliver results.
- Manage Press Materials: Coordinate the sign-off process for articles, press releases, and other media materials.
- Co-ordinate: Research and insight-generation for the local market.
- Track and Report Results: Prepare daily, weekly, and bi-monthly reports on media coverage and PR activities. Assist in creating a data-led bi-annual report covering our key markets.
- Support Media and Content Efforts: Aid in the development of thought leadership pieces, bylines, and other content. Collaborate with the Brand & Comms and Content teams on newsjacking and integrated PR campaigns.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle invoicing, coordination of media opportunities, and other administrative duties to ensure smooth operation of the PR function.
You have:
- Relevant Experience in PR or Marketing.
- Familiarity with Media Relations: Established relationships with journalists and an understanding of local media landscapes.
- Editorial Skills: Ability to review and edit press materials with a keen eye for detail.
- An Organized and Proactive Nature: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
