Job Description

Your role is to produce video content for Reedsy’s YouTube channel, which has now grown to about 100,000 subscribers. You will be creating and sharing engaging content for our community, taking the channel to the next level.

You will:

• Conduct keyword research to determine YouTube SEO opportunities;
• Coordinate with the marketing team to complement their efforts (https://blog.reedsy.com) with video content;
• Develop engaging video scripts;
• Produce, edit and publish 1-2 videos per week for our YouTube channel + shorter versions for our social media channels and advertising campaigns;
• Continue building our community and engage with subscribers;
• Promote the videos, the channel and optimize metadata;
• Contribute to developing our Reedsy Live sessions: https://blog.reedsy.com/live/

Requirements

• Publishing experience and strong understanding of writing craft topics;
• Demonstrable experience as a successful Vlogger, ideally on YouTube;
• A creative/artistic flair;
• Proficient in video editing tools such as Final Cut Pro, iMovie, and Adobe
• Premiere and in working with photoshop;
• Strong understanding of the YouTube algorithm;
• Native-level English speaker.

Bonus Points

• Knowledge of YouTube advertising;
• SEO knowledge;

Salary range:

€60k – €90k
